Monique and her husband Loyd Wellesley are the proud parents of 4 rescue dogs and are the owners and founders of Good Life Pet Sitting. They started the "official" company in 2016 after a lifetime of animal rescue and devotion to neglected and abused animals. They are active with animal rescue in and around San Antonio. Monique is a hardworking entrepreneur who graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication-Public Speaking. She has served on the Board of Directors for PALS Animal Shelter in Corpus Christi, Texas. Over the years, Monique has built a strong reputation as an accomplished and knowledgeable pet sitter. Her dedication to the pet community is a lifetime commitment! For over 35 years, she has rescued dogs and other animals that were in abused and neglected situations. She nurtures them back to health, has them spayed or neutered, then finds their forever home -only after extensive interviews and home visits. Monique also volunteers her time to help stray cats! She traps them, has them neutered, then returns them back so that they can no longer reproduce. Monique's motto is "NO BIRTH IS THE FIRST STEP TO NO KILL".
